More bloody irritation. Those comfortably placed 'owner occupiers' who think living in private rented accommodation is such a bloody good idea for others should try it themselves.
Mood: Fed up, browned off and generally bloody angry.

Hope things have improved regarding the landlord, they can often be slow at fixing things but very fast to say no. And don't get me started on the worst tenants who won't open windows and then complain about condensation and mould. Yes, I managed property in one of my Civil Service jobs. If you need more advice try the CAB, your local Council or this site: http://england.shelter.org.uk/get_advice/advice_topics/renting_and_leasehold/private_tenancies.
Many thanks G. It's not actually the landlord, as such, more those authorised by his authorised agents and our neighbours downstairs.
I know many private tenants are scum of the worst sort: I'm a pauper but some of my close relatives are landlords and some of their experiences have been appalling.
Thanks for the links but I never bother with CAB (utterly useless, if well meaning, old biddies mostly). Shelter are spot on when it comes to advice on tenants rights, which are pitifully few.
